Role in the EMP-L project: Steering Group member

She holds a BA in Greek Cultural Studies (Department of Humanities Studies, Hellenic Open University) and a MA in School Management (Department of Humanities Studies, Hellenic Open University). She is currently doing a doctoral degree in the Department of Music Studies at the Ionian University (Corfu) and she is chairperson of the Greek Association of Primary Music Education Teachers (G.A.P.M.E.T). She is responsible for the pedagogical publications of GAPMET as well as local and national journals for education, culture and health of the Greek Ministry of National Education. She actively participates in conferences and conventions in Greece and abroad as well as Life-long learning programmes as co-ordinator. Her works with educational materials for primary education have been published by Gutenberg, Fagotto and Diaplasi publishing houses in Greece

Panagiotis Kampylis (/panayiotis kampilis/) holds a BA and a Diploma in Education (University of Athens), and a Diploma in the Theory of Music (Athens Apollonian Conservatoire). He has been a primary teacher since 1994. He received his degree as Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.)  by the  Faculty of Information Technology, University of Jyväskylä, Finland after a scholarship by the Greek State Scholarships Foundation. The title of his dissertation is Fostering creative thinking – The role of primary teachers. His research interests also include the construction of classroom-made musical instruments, the utilization of ICT in primary education, and e-learning. He has published 3 books and 2 portfolios with creative activities. He has also published several papers in conferences and journals in the fields of Creativity, Music Education and ICT-based learning. He is vice-president of the Greek Association of Primary Music Education Teachers. He is also member of the editorial boards of the peer-reviewed journals Moysiki se proti Vathmida and Approaches as well as associate editor of the Hellenic Journal of Music, Education, and Culture.

Niki holds a BA and a Diploma in Education from the University of Athens, MA in ICT in Education from the Institute of Education, University of London, and PhD in Human-Computer Interaction Education from London South Bank University (LSBU). The title of her dissertation is “Tools and Evaluation Techniques for Collaborative eLearning Communities”. She has been a primary teacher since 1989. Since 2009, she is in on leave of absence from the Greek Ministry of Education and works as a research fellow in LSBU. Her research interests also include Computer Supported Collaborative eLearning, the utilization of ICT in primary education, user innovation networks, creativity and open innovation. She has published 2 books and several papers in conferences and journals in the areas of her interest.

Her research interests include Computer supported Collaborative Music Composition in Education, Music Creativity development and Curriculum design and development. She has been a music teacher in primary education since 2000. She is member of the Greek Association of Primary Music Education Teachers (G.A.P.M.E.T).

She holds a diploma of the Pedagogical Department of Primary Education (University of Athens).She has been a primary teacher since 2006at the Private Primary School “TAXIARCHIS”, which belongs to her family. She is interested in the integration of Information and Communication Technologies in education. The theme of her graduation work was: “The critical thinking and teaching”. Her research interests lie in the cultivation of critical thinking through the use of New Technologies in the education process. She is member of the Greek Association of Primary Music Education Teachers (GAPMET).

Gavriil  Iordanoglou is the director of the C.V.T. Sbie  being also its legal representative and administrator. He has a degree in the field of Food Technology and is a holder of MSc in Management. His experience in the field of vocational education and training is extended within multiple projects and programs held either by National Ministries or other private and public Institutions, national and European, having the attribute of the person in charge for their planning, implementation and success. Additionally, he has a huge teaching experience concerning different target groups such as students, unemployed and employed people, while being an external evaluator of the State Scholarships Foundation (IKY) with the responsibility of assessing  Leonardo da Vinci Proposals.

Andreas holds a BA of the School of Music Studies (Faculty of Fine Arts, Aristotle University of Thessaloniki) and diploma of piano virtuosity (class of Nikolas Astrinidis). He has studied the Kodaly system with Mihalis Patseas and he has attended the one-year seminar of the Laboratory in Music Therapy with Dora Psaltopoylou. He was reviewer for the textbooks for Music Education for the A and B grades of Primary Education. He directs Children's Chorus and Children’s Orchestra in Conservatoire of Christian Brotherhood Foundation in Nice-Piraeus. He is also General Secretary of the Greek Association of   Music Education Teachers   (GAPMET) and member of the editorial boards of the educational journal Moysiki se proti Vathmida. His reaserch interests include Arts in education, Music Education in preschoolers, Cross Curricular   and   Multicultural   issues in Music Education and Chorus and orchestra music groups   within   primary education context.
